Long-standing rumours of DJI replacing the Osmo Pocket 3 (curr. $522 on Amazon) before the end of the year appear to have come up short. While DJI has not said anything publicly, the Osmo Pocket 4 and the Avata 360 were expected to be the company's final devices before a US sales ban that has now come into effect.
Nonetheless, that has not stopped rumours relating to the Osmo Pocket 4 and its accessories. To that end, fresh pictures showing the unreleased vlogging camera surfaced alongside its predecessor. Not only that, but a second unreleased model was also spotted during the same testing footage.
At the time, we speculated that DJI was plotting Osmo Pocket 4 and Osmo Pocket 4 Pro launches, with the latter distinguished from the former by a second camera lens. According to Photorabz, DJI still intends to launch the standard Osmo Pocket 4 in January.
Mentioned in the video above, the YouTuber claims to have received official confirmation that the Osmo Pocket 4 Pro will be released during the spring. At this stage, they only report that DJI is working towards a launch after April rather than in April. Thus, we suspect a late spring release is on the cards for the time being.
