The Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus is now here after various pre-release leaks and official teasers. Suceeding the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus (curr. $374 on Amazon), the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus adopts a flat design unlike both its predecessor and the entry-level Redmi Note 15. As has already been established, the switch to a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset is unlikely to deliver many performance improvements from last year'sRedmi Note 14 Pro Plu.
Nonetheless, Xiaomi has included upgrades in other areas, including a 7,000 mAh battery that supports 90 W wired and 22.5 W reverse wired charging. Moreover, this year's model jumps to a 6.83-inch OLED display that outputs at 2,772 x 1,280 pixels with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 3,200 nits peak brightness. On top of that, the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus comes with the following cameras:
- Primary: Light Hunter 800, 50 MP, 1/1.55-inch, OIS, 13.2 EV dynamic range
- Telephoto: 50 MP, f/2.2, 2.5x optical zoom
- Ultra-wide: 8 MP, f/2.2, 112° FoV
- Front-facing: 32 MP, 1080p/60 FPS video
The Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus comes in one of four colour options, which loosely translate as Azure Blue, Cedar White, Midnight is Dark, and The Mist is Purple. At launch, the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus starts at CNY 1,899 (~$265) with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Alternatively, the handset can be configured with 512 GB of storage and 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM for CNY 2,099 (~$292) and CNY 2,299 (~$320), respectively. While there is no word on international availability yet, Xiaomi is expected to offer the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus outside China eventually.
