The Redmi Note 15 Pro is Xiaomi's mid-tier option in the Redmi Note 15 series between the Redmi Note 15 and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus, much like the Redmi Note 14 Pro was last year (curr. $316 on Amazon). While the Redmi Note 15 Pro shares some hardware with its Pro Plus sibling, the pair also differ in various areas.
For instance, Xiaomi has equipped the Redmi Note 15 Pro with a Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset, which the company complements with a 7,000 mAh battery. Charging capabilities drop to 45 W though, theoretically half what the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus manages. Seemingly, the Redmi Note 15 Pro shares the same 6.83-inch flat OLED display as its Pro Plus sibling. As a result, the Redmi Note 15 Pro outputs natively at 2,772 x 1,280 pixels with 3,200 nits peak brightness, a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 3,840 Hz PWM frequency.
Cameras are another area in which the Redmi Note 15 Pro departs from its Pro Plus sibling. As far as we can tell, these are unchanged from last year's model. In other words, the Redmi Note 15 Pro has a 50 MP primary camera based around the Sony LYT-600, with 20 MP front-facing, 8 MP ultra-wide, and 2 MP macro cameras at its disposal.
The Redmi Note 15 starts at CNY 1,399 (~$195) in China with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Alternatively, Xiaomi is selling the device with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of storage for CNY 1,599 (~$223) and CNY 1,799 (~$251), respectively. As with the more expensive Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus, Xiaomi offers the Redmi Note 15 Pro in four colours called Azure Blue, Cedar White, Midnight is Black and Yunxia Purple.
