Honor has launched a new member in its budget-focused X-series lineup, the X7d. The company’s entry-level handset brings a bigger battery and extra durability. To be more exact, the X7d features SGS 5-star drop-survival certification and an IP65 rating, offering protection against dust and water jets.
A 6,500 mAh battery powers the X7d, another major upgrade from the Honor X7c, which was launched in the second week of August 2025 with a 5,200 mAh battery. Speaking of the processor, Honor has incorporated a two-year-old Snapdragon 685 chipset in the smartphone paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, with no option for storage expansion.
Despite being an entry-level smartphone, the device boasts a 108 MP primary camera coupled with a 2 MP depth sensor. Upfront, there’s an 8 MP camera for capturing selfies and video chats. The software side is covered by MagisOS 9.0, based on Android 15. As usual, there’s no word on software updates from the brand.
The display of the smartphone is slightly smaller compared to the X7c. It features a 6.77-inch LCD panel that delivers 720p+ resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Consumers can choose from desert gold, meteor silver, velvet black, and ocean cyan color options. Honor hasn’t yet revealed the pricing and availability details for the X7d.
