Hardly any time has passed since leaker Digital Chat Station weighed in on the state of Nubia's next RedMagic release. For context, the company has just released the RedMagic Astra globally, having announced the RedMagic 10S Pro in the spring with the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset found in other current flagships like the Galaxy S25 Ultra and OnePlus 13 (curr. $849 on Amazon).
Now, it seems that Nubia's first RedMagic 11-branded smartphone has surfaced on popular benchmarking website Geekbench. As the screenshot below shows, Geekbench only identifies the device by its model name 'Nubia NX809J'. Nonetheless, this model number is consistent with other RedMagic smartphones.
For example, Nubia associates the RedMagic 10 Pro with the model number 'Nubia NX789J'. Therefore, one can infer that NX809J is a next-generation model of some kind. Accordingly, the Qualcomm chipset mentioned is consistent with leaks concerning the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. Moreover, the listing indicates that Nubia plans to offer what is likely the RedMagic 11 Pro with 16 GB of RAM.
Ultimately, one should not draw too many conclusions from a single benchmark result. With that being said, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 outperforms the median of Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered devices we have tested, even at this early stage. Specifically, the RedMagic 11 Pro achieves 7% faster single-core performance and 16% higher multi-core performance with its 6 Performance and 2 Prime cores.
