Realme has set August 27 as the launch date for a new smartphone with the largest battery capacity ever made by the manufacturer. While there are speculations that the phone will have a 10,000mAh battery capacity, it turns out that the capacity is actually far larger.
According to a photo that has surfaced online, the unnamed Realme smartphone will actually pack a massive 15,000mAh battery capacity. That is more than double the 7,000mAh battery of many of the phones it has released this year such as the Realme GT 7 (available on Amazon.de for €549). While the image above shows the phone has a silver paint job, a flat frame, as well as its battery capacity written on the back, a couple of promotional videos have revealed more details.
From the videos, we now know the phone will have a flat display with a centered punch hole for the front-facing camera, dual rear cameras, and support for 80W SUPERVOOC fast wired charging. Realme has also revealed that the phone will be able to last up to 5.18 days on a single charge and provide up to 18.75 hours of video recording on a single charge.
It is not known if the device is just a proof of concept or if it will be available to buy. Nevertheless, we expect more details will surface on or before August 27.
