The successor to the Realme P3 5G has arrived, bringing a slew of significant upgrades. The Realme P4 Pro 5G features a modernized design with a larger camera module and a back with a striking wood texture in two of its three color variants. The P4 series is primarily intended to impress with its strong value for money.
The Realme P4 Pro 5G features a modern Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and a massive 7,000 mAh battery that can be charged via USB-C with up to 80 watts. At a thickness of 7.68 millimeters and a weight of 189 grams, the Realme P4 Pro is still relatively thin and light. The 6.8-inch AMOLED display reaches a resolution of 2,800 x 1,280, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, an overall brightness of 1,800 nits, and an HDR peak brightness of 6,500 nits. The 50 MP selfie camera is housed in a punch-hole and the fingerprint sensor is invisibly integrated into the display.
The rear camera module houses a 50 MP f/1.8 main camera and an 8 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera. The cheaper Realme P4 5G cuts corners in three main areas. Firstly, it has the slower MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor. Secondly, the AMOLED panel only has a brightness of 4,500 nits and a resolution of 2,392 x 1,080. Thirdly, Realme installs a 16 MP selfie camera. Both models lack wireless charging and a waterproof casing.
