Realme has expanded its numerical lineup with the launch of the next-generation Realme 15 series smartphone. Realme has introduced two new smartphones under the 15 series: the Realme 15 and the Realme 15 Pro. This time around, Realme isn’t launching the Pro+ variant; that means the Pro variant comes as a direct successor to the Realme 14 Pro+, while the vanilla Realme 15 succeeds the Realme 14 Pro.
The Realme 15 Pro variant brings noticeable upgrades over the last-generation model. For example, the battery of a smartphone is now bigger than before, featuring a large 7,000 mAh battery with 80 W wired charging support. However, there’s no wireless charging support here. Another major upgrade comes to the camera department. The device now gets a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50 MP Sony IMX896 primary sensor and a 50 MP ultrawide shooter, a step up from the 8 MP of the Realme 14 Pro+.
Upfront, you’ll also get a 50 MP shooter, which is a substantial upgrade over the dated 32 MP selfie shooter from the Realme 14 Pro+. Speaking of performance, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage with no room for storage expansion. Software-wise, it runs Realme UI 6 based on Android 15 out of the box.
Realme also packs some new AI-backed editing features into the smartphone, two of which are called AI Edit Genie and AI Party. Despite the larger battery, the device measures just 7.69 mm (0.3 inch) in thickness and weighs 187 grams (0.41 lbs). The Realme 15 Pro sports a 6.8-inch AMOLED curved display that outputs at 1.5k resolution with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 6,500 nits. Plus, there’s also a Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection on top.
Available in flowing silver, velvet green, and silk purple, the Realme 15 Pro is priced at INR 28,999 ($335) for the base 8 GB + 128 GB model, the 8 GB + 256 GB variant costs INR 30,999 ($360), and the top-end 12 GB + 512 GB model retails at INR 35,999 ($415). The Realme 15 series devices are now available for pre-order, while open sales will commence on July 30 via Realme India’s official website and other authorized retailers.
