The latest Realme GT 8 Pro leak suggests that it might have a new software feature to rival one found in Apple's supposed iPhone Fold. The former is much less likely to be foldable itself, though, according to some additional new tips.
One of them suggests that it (or its vanilla GT 8 counterpart) might look more like a hybrid of the "iPhone 17 Pro" and Realme's existing GT 7 Pro - although it should be noted that this rumor is purely based on guesswork by the famous leaker Fixed Focus Digital.
Nevertheless, it seems the GT 8 and 8 Pro will not be joined by their first foldable counterpart during Realme's next product cycle.
The brand is backed to produce what might be its answer to the Oppo K13 Turbo series of smartphones instead.
Like RedMagic's flagships, they are equipped with active cooling integrated into their camera humps for increased performance in tasks such as gaming.
Accordingly, it seems Realme will aim to keep up with the latest trends rather than target the super-premium end of the smartphone market - especially as its new flagship line is also now vaguely tipped to start at the relatively affordable price of 2,999 yuan (~$420) in China.
