Honor has now started to announce specifications for its next clamshell foldable and Galaxy Z Flip7 (curr. $1,099.99 on Amazon) rival following yesterday's launch date confirmation. For context, the Magic V Flip2 will officially arrive in China on August 21 during an event scheduled to start at 11:30 UTC.
In the meantime, Honor has revealed that the Magic V Flip2 will feature a 5,500 mAh battery that supports 80 W wired and 50 W wireless charging. Consequently, Honor's next clamshell foldable has a 14.5% larger battery than its predecessor while enjoying 6.8%, 17% and 27.9% leads over the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2, Razr 60 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip7, respectively.
Moreover, Honor has confirmed that the Magic V Flip2 will be available in four launch colour options. Meanwhile, Digital Chat Station indicates that the device will ship with a last-generation chipset in the form of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, as well as Honor's in-house C1 and E2 chipsets within a 167.1 x 75.6 x 6.9 mm housing that weighs 204 g.
Somehow, Honor is said to have included 200 MP primary, 50 MP ultra-wide-angle and 50 MP selfie cameras, too. According to Digital Chat Station, the Magic V Flip2 also contains 4-inch cover and 6.8-inch foldable displays, each 120 Hz LTPO OLED panels. Presumably, Honor will confirm more details about the Magic V Flip2 before August 21.
