Xiaomi is well and truly underway when it comes to its Redmi Note 15 series teaser campaign. To recap, the company outlined earlier this week that at least Redmi Note 15 Pro models would be available in China before the end of August. However, the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus are expected to be joined by a successor to the Redmi Note 14 5G as well (curr. $259.99 on Amazon).
Previously, Xiaomi teased at least of its forthcoming smartphones' designs. Now, it has moved to hinting at the durability of its new mid-range smartphones. For context, the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus is IP69 certified in China but IP68 certified globally.
For the time being, Xiaomi has not identified what changes or improvements it plans to introduce with the Redmi Note 15 series. With that being said, we would not be surprised if at least one Redmi Note 15 Pro model offers IP69K certification considering that Honor adopted that standard last month for the Honor X70. Currently, Xiaomi is expected to deliver multiple Redmi Note 15 smartphones globally by early next year at the latest, including with dedicated 4G variants.
