It seems that the Vivo X300 series is on the horizon after the X200 Ultra debuted during the spring. After months of rumours, what appears to be the first member of Vivo's next generation flagships has now received its first regulatory body certification in China. Like the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus before it, it looks like the regular Vivo X300 will arrive with a dedicated special edition model too.
Specifically, the V2502A is thought to be the regular Vivo X300 rather than its rumoured X300 Pro sibling. Meanwhile, the V2502DA is believed by the likes of Digital Chat Station and WhyLab to be a variant of the X300 that can connect with BeiDou's satellite messaging service. As a result, this model is unlikely to be available outside China.
Vivo is expected to equip the X300 and X300 Pro with the Dimensity 9500 as a way of distinguishing them from other Qualcomm-backed flagships like the Galaxy S25 Ultra or the OnePlus 13 (curr. $787 on Amazon). Currently, MediaTek is believed to have scheduled its Dimensity 9500 presentation for September 22 to get ahead of Qualcomm and the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 by 24 hours. Thus, a late September launch event looks likely for the X300 and X300 Pro, albeit only in China.
