Vivo is expected to release the successor to the flagship X200 series in the coming months. A new leak has surfaced online, revealing some information regarding the standard X300 model.
For those unaware, the X200 series was first introduced with three models: the standard X200, X200 Pro Mini, and X200 Pro. The X200 Pro Mini was a compact smartphone with a 6.31-inch display. Meanwhile, the standard X200 featured a 6.67-inch display, and the X200 Pro came with a larger 6.78-inch display.
A new leak on the social media site X suggests that Vivo X300 may feature a compact design. The leak points out that the X300’s compact form factor reduces the need for a Pro Mini model. Furthermore, the tipster claims the standard X300 will have better optics.
According to leaks and rumors, the Vivo X300 will feature a triple rear camera setup comprising a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. The phone is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 9500 chipset, an upcoming flagship SoC from MediaTek.
Apart from the standard model, the X300 lineup may include the Pro model. According to a previous leak, the phone may feature a new 50MP Sony LYT-828 1/1.3” primary sensor. Additionally, it is said to have a 6,500mAh battery capacity. All this information is based on a leak and hence should be taken with a pinch of salt.
