The Vivo T4 Pro 5G is expected to impress with its attractive price-performance ratio. Starting at around $320, Vivo offers several features that are rather unusual in this price range. Starting with the triple camera setup, which, in addition to a 50 MP f/1.79 main camera, includes a 50 MP f/2.65 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization.
The third camera, however, is a useless 2 MP sensor, and Vivo has completely omitted an ultra-wide-angle camera. The 32 MP f/2.45 selfie camera is housed in a punch-hole in the 6.77-inch AMOLED panel, which features an overall brightness of 1,500 nits, an HDR peak brightness of 5,000 nits, and a frame rate of 120 Hz. At a height of 7.5 millimeters and a weight of 192 grams, the Vivo T4 Pro 5G is relatively thin and light.
Vivo still manages to fit in a comparatively large 6,500 mAh battery, which can be charged via USB-C at up to 90 watts, but wireless charging is unfortunately lacking. The housing is IP68 and IP69 certified, making it waterproof. According to Vivo, the T4 Pro 5G can withstand falls and extreme temperatures from -20 to +50 degrees Celsius. The smartphone utilizes the modern Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. Four major Android updates and six years of security patches are promised.
