The Ulefone Armor 29 Ultra was unveiled just a few weeks ago, and now the more affordable Armor 29 Pro is following suit. This cheaper model replaces the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ with the Dimensity 7400, but otherwise offers almost the same specs, including a gigantic 21,200 mAh battery with 120-watt fast charging in a 3.4-centimeter-thick, 688-gram case.
This makes the smartphone heavier than many tablets, but it also offers a number of interesting features. These include 570 LEDs on the back that achieve a brightness of 1,000 lumens. Blue and red warning lights are intended to ensure better visibility. The round 1.04-inch AMOLED display on the back can display a clock, widgets for controlling music playback or the camera, and incoming calls.
The 6.67-inch main display is a 2,200 nits bright AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Ulefone incorporates a dedicated camera shutter and a 50 MP f/1.95 main camera equipped with a 1/1.31-inch Samsung Isocell GN1 sensor – the same size as the sensor in the Google Pixel 10 Pro.
There is also a 50 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera with macro function and a 64 MP f/1.79 night vision camera, which uses four infrared LEDs to capture bright black-and-white photos and videos in the dark. For an additional charge, Ulefone also offers a model with a thermal imaging camera; the video embedded below shows how this camera works.
