The Oppo Find X9 Pro is projected to pose an even more convincing iPhone alternative than its predecessor, in terms of looks as well as a new ultra-slim-bezel LIPO OLED display, potentially vastly improved rear cameras and the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC.
It also has 2 model numbers, according to a new submission to China's 3C safety regulator as spotted by the generally accurate leaker Digital Chat Station.
Should that be the case, the PLG110 and PLG120 might be successors to the Find X8 Pro and that smartphone's Satellite Edition respectively.
3C has cleared both devices to use 80W wired charging using Oppo's VCB80ACH power brick, as with the X8 Pro prior to its launch.
The Find X9 Pro (and X9 Pro Satellite Edition) might thus lack upgrades in this area, yet are still thought to launch with much larger batteries.
The upcoming late-year Oppo flagship is also believed to support magnetic wireless charging, with the OEM's in-house 50W max speed as opposed to 25W with even the latest universal Qi2.2 standard, moreover.
Finally, this new tip is also a strong indication that the vanilla Find X9 will have the same specs.
