Yogesh Brar and XpertPick have collaborated to share various alleged details about Oppo's next entry-level flagship. Currently thought of as the Find X9, the device is expected to arrive either late September or early October alongside the larger Find X9 Pro.
Contrary to previous rumours, the pair believe that Oppo has installed a 6.59-inch display to match the size of last year's Find X8. For context, the Find X9 was initially said to feature a 6.3-inch panel. A return of a 6.59-inch display would see the Find X9 being about as big as the Galaxy S25 Plus (curr. $587 - renewed on Amazon) though, rather than the noticeably smaller Galaxy S25.
Moreover, the Find X9 is reputed to feature a 120 Hz LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. On top of that, Yogesh Brar and XpertPick report that Oppo combines this display with a 7,025 mAh battery that supports 50 W wireless and 80 W wired charging, as well as a Dimensity 9500 chipset that MediaTek will be unveiling in late September.
Apparently, two major camera upgrades are in store, too. Specifically, XpertPick reports that the Sony LYT-808 and Samsung ISOCELL JN9 sensors will take over as 50 MP primary and 3x telephoto cameras. Conversely, the ISOCELL JN5 will be returning as an ultra-wide-angle camera for another generation.
