The launches of the Xiaomi 16 series are reputed to be right around the corner. Based on recent rumours, Xiaomi is preparing three flagship smartphone launches for late September or early October rather than offering straight successors to last year's Xiaomi 15 Pro and the smaller Xiaomi 15 (curr. $900 on Amazon).
Now, early evidence suggests that these prior claims were accurate after all. Specifically, the 3C has now certified three new unreleased Xiaomi smartphones. As the embedded images below show, the three carry the model numbers 25098PN5AC, 2509FPN0BC and 25113PN0EC; the Xiaomi 16 Ultra is not expected to debut until early next year.
On the one hand, the 3C has indicated that Xiaomi is preparing to launch three new smartphones, perhaps simultaneously. On the other hand, the listing also shows that the 25098PN5AC, 2509FPN0BC and 25113PN0EC all support 100 W wired charging at various current and voltage combinations. Thus, it seems that the Xiaomi 16, Xiaomi 16 Pro and Xiaomi 16 Pro Max will line up with charging upgrades over last year's models, as well as other improvements like new cameras and a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.
