Honor has released several smartphones this year, but it doesn't come as a surprise to know that it isn't done yet. With four months to go before the end of 2025, there's more than enough time for more products including new models for some of its main lines.
There's no need to guess which smartphones will be launching as the renowned leaker, Digital Chat Station, has revealed the names as well as some key details of some the upcoming Honor smartphones in development, some of which will be announced this year.
According to the source, Honor will not only announce the Magic 8 series as a follow-up to last year's Magic 7 smartphones, it will also announce the Honor 500 series. Considering the Honor 400 series made its debut in June, it means there'll be roughly six months between them and the Honor 500.
Details of the Honor 500 series provided by the source mention two models which likely means a standard and a pro model. The phones are also said to have a similar design and specs to the Honor 400 (available on Amazon.de for €499) such as a 6.5-inch display and a 200MP primary rear camera.
In addition to the Honor 500, Digital Chat Station also revealed that Honor plans to launch a successor to the Honor GT series. The Honor GT 2 series will include a model with a large 6.83-inch display, a high performance processor, and a large battery capacity.
The source also mentioned that Honor is developing some compact smartphones and tablets, one of which is the Magic 8 Mini, which according to Digital Chat Station will be powered by the yet-to-be-announced Dimensity 9500.
As exciting it is to know which devices are coming later this year, there's a high chance that most if not all of them will make their debut in China first before heading to global markets which might likely happen early next year at the earliest.
