Honor's new mouse doubles as a charging case for earbuds

Honor has just launched the Select Yuewo Wireless Ear Mouse Pro, a hybrid mouse designed to function both as a computer mouse and as a charging case for wireless earbuds. Announced alongside the new Magic V Flip 2, the device is aimed at users who frequently alternate between typing, browsing, and taking calls, offering a practical option for those who want fewer devices cluttering their desks without sacrificing convenience.

At the heart of the design is the idea that the mouse doubles as storage and a charging case for a pair of semi-open earbuds. These earbuds are equipped with a dual-magnetic dynamic driver setup and support noise reduction, giving them enough technical strength to handle calls and casual listening. The mouse itself is finished with an excimer skin-feel coating developed using nano-scale technology, which Honor says produces a softer texture.

Its buttons are fitted with custom TTC switches rated for up to five million clicks, a figure that signals long-term durability for everyday use. With a weight of 78 grams without the earbuds and 88 grams with them stored inside, the mouse remains light enough to carry around with ease. Honor has also placed emphasis on simplicity in connectivity.

In PC mode, the mouse and earbuds each connect through their own dedicated receivers, eliminating the usual hassle of pairing. A single button lets users quickly move from everyday mouse use to audio mode during calls, reducing friction in work or study sessions. When paired with a smartphone, the earbuds transition into Bluetooth mode for independent use while the mouse stays connected to its receiver, which makes it possible to keep both functions running smoothly across devices without interruption.

Battery life is another key point of focus, with Honor claiming that the integrated 1000 mAh battery provides up to 30 days of usage on a single charge. The device supports Windows 10 and newer versions as well as macOS 10.13 and later, covering most modern systems and making it widely accessible.

The Honor Select Yuewo Wireless Ear Mouse Pro is priced at 269 yuan, which is approximately $37, though an introductory offer brings the cost down to 249 yuan or about $34. It is available in two finishes, Champagne Gold and Starry Gray.
