The Galaxy Buds Core are Samsung's cheapest pair of earbuds, but they are only available in select markets excluding the US. Those who live stateside and want an affordable pair of Samsung earbuds will have to look to the newly-launched Galaxy Buds 3 FE, although they have to wait until September 5 when they will be released.

At $149.99, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE aren't cheap compared to the Galaxy Buds Core which cost ₹9,999 (~$114) in India but have been discounted by 50% since launch day, bringing the price down to ₹4,999 (~$57). However, rather than shell out $150 on the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, you are better off buying Samsung's top model earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, which are currently discounted on Amazon.

The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro were announced in July 2024 which makes them a year old already, so it is no surprise that they have received heavy discounts since then. These earbuds which cost $249.99 at launch can be purchased for significantly less now.

The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are down to just $123.99 on Amazon, a whopping $125 off their launch price. This price also means that they are $26 cheaper than the Galaxy Buds 3 FE which makes them a no-brainer for anyone who has their eyes on the Galaxy Buds 3 FE. The earbuds, which are available in silver, are sold by Woot (which is owned by Amazon) and ships from Amazon.

However, the listing says these are the Latin American version, and while they are not different feature wise, Amazon only offers a 30-day return policy on them unlike the Amazon-exclusive US version which have a 2-year warranty and cost more at $189.99.

The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have a 2-way speaker, dual amp, adaptive noise cancellation, touch controls, 360-degree surround sound, and are rated IP57 for dust and water resistance. The earbuds have support for Auracast, and if you have the Galaxy S23 and newer or the Galaxy Z Flip 5|Fold 5 and newer, you should be able to enjoy streaming at Hi-Fi 24-bit audio thanks to support for Samsung Seamless Codec (SSC). Samsung's earbuds also work with other Android phones as long as you install the Galaxy Wearable app to get access to features and settings.

The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have support for Adaptive Noise Control, Adaptive EQ, and can double as hearing aids since they are classified as hearing aid SaMD (software as a Medical Device). The earbuds also have AI features such as voice detection, siren detection, and a real-time interpreter that translates what you hear. They have a battery life of up to 30 hours (20 hours with ANC on) with the case and support wireless charging.
