Just when OnePlus thought it was safe to bring its Nord Buds 3r to the Indian market, Motorola has targeted roughly the same segment with its own latest wireless earbuds.
They are backed to specialize in "thumping bass" with a custom EQ to augment dynamic drivers of the same 12.4mm size as the Buds 3r, and also support "dynamic" active noise cancellation rated to block unwanted sounds of up to 50 decibels (dB) where their OnePlus rivals do not.
Then again, the Moto Buds Bass support older Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and have a shorter estimate for total battery life.
The Buds Bass have 3 color options rather than 2: Posy Green, Dark Shadow and Blue Jewel, all developed as a result of Motorola's continuing partnership with Pantone.
On that note, the Moto Buds Loop have also been introduced to the Indian market. The Bose-tuned open earphones are to become available in Pantone French Oak, Ice Melt (which are decorated with Swarovski crystals) and Trekking Green colorways (which is not).
They will start at INR 7,999 (~$91, as opposed to $149.99 on Amazon in the US) from September 1, 2025, while the Moto Buds Bass will be released at INR 1,999 (~$23) on September 8, 2025 (as will the Nord Buds 3r).
