Motorola now claims to have unleashed a whole "new era of design" in unveiling its new Brilliant Collection, although it largely consists of some pre-existing devices customized with crystals, as teased earlier.
The new versions of the Moto Buds Loop and Razr 2025 (or Razr 60 in some other regions) do have a clean new Pantone Ice Melt colorway to complement their new bling, which is of course sourced from Swarovski.
The clamshell smartphone's new rear panel has a quilted texture punctuated by 35 of these individual "hand-placed" stones, while 1 more, big enough to have 26 facets, is found in its hinge.
The Razr 2025 Brilliant Edition also has new "crystal-inspired" buttons, while the matching earbuds has a band of them running along their ear-loop. Unlike those of the smartphone, they alternate in color between blue and white in keeping with their shiny theme.
The Brilliant Edition of the Moto Buds Loop still have Bose tuning and up to 37 hours of battery life, while its Razr counterpart seems to be the series' base model with a Dimensity 7300X processor and 8GB of RAM - Motorola has yet to clarify those points.
It is now clear that both members of the Brilliant Collection will sell as a limited-edition bundle for $999 from August 7, 2025, as opposed to $599.99 for a Razr 2025 on its own in one of its standard Pantone colors.
Alternatively, another version of the Buds Loop with Crystals by Swarovski in a different French Oak finish is available on Amazon right now for $299.99.
Motorola recommends that a prospective owner of the sparkly gadgets registers on their web-page for an optimal chance to buy on their release.
