Turtle Beach announces three new racing peripherals, including a wireless option
Turtle Beach is expanding its lineup of racing peripherals with three new designed for Xbox devices. These include the VelocityOne Race KD3 wheel and pedals system, the VelocityOne F-RX formula wheel, and Turtle Beach Racer wireless racing wheel. The new gear works with Xbox consoles and PC giving racing sim fans more options for an immersive driving experience.
Turtle Beach VelocityOne Race KD3 wheel and pedals system
This setup includes the steering wheel, wheel base, and pedals. It is a direct drive system with 3.2Nm of force feedback, along with magnetic paddle shifters. The wheel base also has a sleek display called the Race Management Display for tuning and customizing various settings. The throttle and brake pedals are Hall-effect offering high accuracy and durability. It is an 11-inch wheel with 2,160 degrees of rotation.
Turtle Beach VelocityOne F-RX formula wheel
As the name suggests, the VelocityOne F-RX formula wheel is a standalone wheel attachment that works with all VelocityOne K: Drive wheelbases. It has 10 mechanical switches with RGB lighting, an aluminum chassis, non-slip grips, and magnetic paddle shifters that are tunable. The wheel also has an LED RPM dashboard to assist with accurate shifting. The customizable controls include five rotary dials and a healthy set of easy to reach buttons.
Turtle Beach Racer wireless racing wheel
This wireless racing wheel is an all-in-one setup with a non-slip lap mount as well as adjustable table clamps. It has an advertised up to 30 hour battery life and comes with a 10ft play-and-charge USB cable. Along with the standard Xbox controller buttons, there are two mappable quick-action buttons that are easy to reach. The 3.5mm headphone jack allows for connecting any headset. The Control Center 2 App can be used on the Xbox or PC to customize the mappable controls.
