Last month 8BitDo released a custom version of its Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller that is based on the new video game, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. It turns out that it isn't the only brand that has partnered with Leenzee and 505 Games, the developer and publisher respectively of the video game to release a special edition controller as GameSir has revealed it has a controller based on Wuchang: Fallen Feathers on the way.
The upcoming controller will be a special version of GameSir's top controller, the G7 Pro Tri-Mode. However, it will be the long-awaited version that supports wireless connection to an Xbox as the standard GameSir G7 Pro connects to Xbox consoles via a wired (USB) connection. This is similar to what 8BitDo did with its Rare 40th anniversary controller which is its first wireless controller for Xbox.
The upcoming GameSir x Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Wireless Controller for Xbox has a faceplate that is designed to match Wuchang's Draconic Resurgence costume. The handles have a feather-like design while the D-pad is golden and the letters on the ABXY buttons are written in a brush script. The controller will come with a matching charging station.
The controller doesn't have a release date yet as a product video released by the manufacturer says that it is coming soon. However, in a Reddit post where a user asked a GameSir rep when the promised wireless Xbox controller will be available, the response said shipping will begin in mid-September.
The GameSir x Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Wireless Controller for Xbox is expected to cost more than the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller Wuchang: Fallen Feathers edition which is available on Amazon for $65.35 considering the regular GameSir G7 Pro Tri-Mode controller has a $79.99 price tag.
