GameSir has finally given the controller that was previously known as the Spirit Fox a full global release. To recap, the company showcased the Spirit Fox at the start of May for CNY 49.9 in China, which converts to $6.95 at current exchange rates.
Subsequently, it appeared that GameSir was on the verge of releasing the Spirit Fox in more markets as the T3 Lite. While the company includes that model name on the controller itself, GameSir now refers to it as the Tegenaria Lite instead. On top of that, the Tegenaria Lite retails for significantly less than early Amazon listings suggested.
For context, these listings placed the Tegenaria Lite at around $27. Thankfully, final pricing has dropped by over 25% to $19.99 when ordered from GameSir directly or on Amazon. Please note that this price applies to the controller's Retro Grey and Serene White colour options.
In summary, the Tegenaria Lite features Hall effect joysticks, which GameSir complements with membrane analog triggers and dual asymmetric motors. Moreover, the Tegenaria Lite contains two rear configurable buttons and a turbo option across its face and shoulder buttons. Supposedly, a 1,000 Hz polling rate should keep input lag to a minimum, too. Please see GameSir's website for more details.
