The Super Nova is surprisingly versatile and well-built

Reviews of the GameSir controller describe exceptional build quality for an affordable device. The Hall effect analog sticks and triggers add to its durability. Since the sticks measure inputs using magnetic sensors, there are fewer physical components prone to wear and tear. 

The Super Nova showcases a standard Xbox layout, but Switch gamers can swap the orientation of the membrane face buttons. Its two back paddles are remappable with or without software to provide quicker access to common inputs.

The backward compatibility of the Switch 2 benefits the Super Nova. Gamers can connect the Switch and Switch 2 controller to either handheld using the included USB-C wireless receiver. The dongle unlocks a 1000Hz polling rate to minimize wireless latency. For more casual gaming, Bluetooth pairing is also an option.
