GameSir Cyclone 2 launched: Mag-Res TMR sticks, customizable RGB, and multi-platform compatibility
GameSir has announced a new controller just in time for the holidays. Called the Cyclone 2, the controller is compatible with the Nintendo Switch, PC, Android, iOS, and Steam, and can be used in both wireless (bluetooth and 2.4GHz) and wired mode.
When compared to its predecessor, the Cyclone 2 has some notable differences. For starters, it ditches the hall effect sticks for Mag-Res TMR sticks with a 12-bit chip which it says have better linear output and a higher precision than potentiometer sticks and better durability than hall-effect sticks.

The controller also allows users to switch the hall effect triggers between analog trigger mode for racing games and hair trigger mode for FPS and action games. It also has a micro switch hair trigger mode and GameSir says the controller can seamlessly switch between hall effect and micro switch.
The Cyclone 2 has micro switch ABXY buttons, a tactile switch D-pad, two back buttons, and an audio jack. It also has a built-in 6-axis gyroscope for Nintendo games. With the GameSir Connect software, users can adjust the Cylcone 2's RGB lightning effects for the home indicator, lighting strip, and channel indicator; the polling rate (up to 1000Hz), and the deadzones of the triggers.
The Cyclone 2 has an 860mAh battery and is available in Shadow Black and Phantom White. The controller is available to buy on Amazon for $49.99/£49.99 but jumps to $55.99/£55.99 if you purchase it along with an aluminum alloy charging tower which has an RGB indicator.
