The GameSir Tarantula Pro controller can switch between two action button layouts
For gamers who own multiple consoles, especially those that have controllers with a different button layout, it takes a little while to get accustomed to a controller when you switch from one to the other. GameSir wants to help solve that problem with its new Tarantula Pro controller.

The Tarantula Pro controller comes with an interesting feature that allows users to switch the layout of the face buttons/action buttons (ABXY) from that used by the Nintendo Switch (available on Amazon for $330) to that used by the Xbox, Steam Deck, Windows, or mobile controllers for Android and iOS devices.
It does this via a gear mechanism, and you can even see how it works via the small transparent window on the controller. To switch from one layout to another, users have to press the button labelled 'M' at the back of the controller and the bottom action button (A or B, depending on the layout in use).
In addition to interchangeable face buttons, the GameSir Tarantula Pro has some other interesting features such as support for HD Rumble, NFC, and One-Press wake-up for the Nintendo Switch. It also has nine mappable buttons including two retractable back buttons, customizable RGB lighting, and the ability to switch between Hall Effect and Micro Switch trigger modes.
The GameSir Tarantula Pro has a 1,200mAh rechargeable battery and can be connected via Bluetooth, USB, or a 2.4GHz wireless adapter. The controller is compatible with Android, iOS, PC, and the Nintendo Switch. GameSir offers it in two variants - a standard version that costs $69.99 and a $79.99 Charging Station Edition that comes with a transparent acrylic charging station.
