Gamesir has released a new controller globally after presenting the Spirit Fox earlier this month in China. To recap, the Spirit Fox is a budget wired controller that resembles a wired DualShock or DualSense controller. By contrast, the Nova 2 Lite leverages an Xbox layout, albeit with the XYAB button layout used across Nintendo controllers.
According to GameSir, the Nova 2 Lite features Hall effect joysticks complemented Hall effect analogue triggers. The latter's travel can also be adjusted by dedicated switches on the controller's rear, much like those on the Legion Go S. Supposedly, the Nova 2 Lite offers a 1,000 Hz polling rate over wired and 2.4 GHz wireless connections, too.
Meanwhile, GameSir has also included a 600 mAh battery; it has not provided any official battery life estimates as far as we can tell, though. Unfortunately, GameSir sells its charging station separately despite including it in marketing materials. On top of that, the Nova 2 Lite misses out on gyroscopic controls. Currently, the Nova 2 Lite can be ordered directly or from Amazon for $29.99 in Luminous White and Midnight Gray colour options. Please see GameSir's website for more information.
