Epic Games Store: Leaker decodes next free game ahead of time in final Mystery Game giveaway

Epic Games has just kicked off a new round of free game giveaways on mobile and PC. Running until next Thursday (that's June 5, 2025), the latest deals total almost $80 across all platforms, with the vast majority on its PC service after giving away Deliver At All Costs (curr. $47.99 on Amazon) and other titles last week. As usual, the storefront has outlined its plans for future free games.

Epic Games has returned to its Mystery Game program again, just like previous weeks. As a result, next week's free games will be the eighth and ninth successive titles plucked from its vault. However in a tweet, the company has now clarified that this week's teasers will be the last for a while as it wraps up another Mega Sale period. By all accounts, Epic's recent teasers have been overly cryptic and almost impossible to decipher.

Unfortunately, the same is true of its latest round, which we embedded below. According to leaker u/MeguminShiro, Epic has brought back a hint from two weeks ago that it swapped at the last minute. As a result, they appear to believe that one of next week's free games will be Ogu and the Secret Forest, a 2D adventure game that is still listed as 'coming soon' on the Epic Games Store.
