A new update for the macOS version of the 8BitDo Ultimate Software V2 has arrived. The update brings support for multiple 8BitDo controllers, receivers, and mouse, allowing owners of these devices to modify and remap keys and update the firmware.

The 8BitDo Ultimate Software V2 is one of three software programs available for 8BitDo devices. Available for Windows and macOS, the software can be used to update the firmware of compatible controllers and can also be used for button remapping, vibration adjustment, and to create different gaming profiles.

The software doesn't support all 8BitDo game controllers and accessories, and it appears that the macOS version even supports fewer devices than the Windows variant. Thankfully, 8BitDo has announced that a new version of the macOS software has been released and it brings support for many new devices including controllers, receivers, and a mouse.

Below is the list of newly added devices:

The version number for the updated macOS software is 1.0.4 and it can be downloaded from the source link below. Once installed, owners of these devices will be able to modify and disable keys, adjust RGB lighting for supported products, and update the firmware.
