It seems as though Razer may be releasing a refreshed version of its Deathadder V3 Pro gaming mouse (curr. $159.99 on Amazon) in the Deathadder V4 Pro. The first images of the Deathadder V4 Pro have surfaced, thanks to @hitoshi_1107 on X. If the leaks are anything to go by, the new Deathadder V4 looks quite similar to the existing Deathadder V3 Pro, although the 2.4 GHz receiver has been updated.
Razer Deathadder V4 Pro - tweaked ergonomics with new buttons
Overlaying the leaked top-down image of the Deathadder V4 Pro over the top of the Deathadder V3 Pro — with the mouse wheel as a reference — reveals that, although the two gaming mice seem identical at first glance, the alleged V4 Pro has a slightly more pronounced curve. It might not look like a big change, but it will likely be noticeable in ergonomics and grip. The side buttons on the Razer Deathadder 4 Pro have also been redesigned alongside the shell tweaks.
The new buttons appear to be smaller than the buttons on the V3 Pro, and they have a slightly rounder shape and more space between the buttons, compared to the buttons on the Deathadder V3 Pro. The side profile of the Deathadder V4 Pro looks identical to the Deathadder V3's shape, which may or may not be a good thing, depending on who you are.
The 2.4 GHz receiver previewed in the leaked images is a stark departure from the current-generation trapezoidal prism, and it has three separate indicator lights on the front — perhaps battery life or signal strength indicators. There is speculation that the new receiver could include some sort of docking feature. The mouse skates on the Deathadder V4 Pro look functionally identical to the previous model's, too.
