8BitDo refreshes Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller to celebrate upcoming game release

8BitDo cannot stop updating its Ultimate 2 controller. To recap, the company introduced a green option of the version it has created for Android and Windows. Shortly afterward, it updated the Bluetooth equivalent with a bright yellow option, which it intends people use on Windows or Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles.

Now, it has announced the release of the Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller - Wuchang: Fallen Feathers in celebration of the upcoming game of the same name. An action RPG, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers will officially land on July 24 across Windows, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X consoles. Incidentally, the new controller arrives less than a year after 8BitDo offered up a Black Myth: Wukong special edition version of the Ultimate 2C.

As for the Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller - Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, 8BitDo has decided to offer it in a single red finish with accenting shoulder buttons, d-pad and ABXY buttons. On top of that, the controller features the outline of the game's main character, Bai Wuchang, which is only complete when the controller and charging dock are combined. Currently, the Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Edition can be ordered on Amazon for $64.99 and will ship three days before the game's release on July 21.
