Chuwi has now released the GameBook after presenting the device almost two months ago. Arriving in the wake of the MiniBook X (curr. $355 on Amazon), the GameBook combines AMD Fire Range-HX and Nvidia Blackwell architectures within a 356.68 x 253.8 x 21.4 mm housing that weighs roughly 2.3 kg.
Specifically, Chuwi has decided to offer its gaming laptop with only the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU. According to the device's product listing, Chuwi allows the Ryzen 9 9955HX to reach 55 W, which is the APU's lowest default Thermal Design Power (TDP). Theoretically, the Ryzen 9 9955HX can be configured up to 75 W, although the GameBook itself only features a 77.77 Wh (15.4V/5,050 mAh) battery.
By contrast, the GameBook is said to provide the full 140 W to its GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU. Additionally, the GameBook features 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, a 1 TB M.2 2280 SSD and a 16-inch IPS display with a 2.5K native resolution (2,560 x 1,600), a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 300 Hz refresh rate and 500 nits peak brightness. As the image above shows, the GameBook contains several ports too, many of which are sandwiched between its dual fan and triple heatpipe cooling system.
Currently, the GameBook appears to be exclusive to Chuwi's EU store, where it retails for €2,300 (~$2,697) or €2,024 (~$2,374) after applying coupon code GB166. As it stands, it remains unclear when Chuwi will begin stocking its new gaming laptop for other markets. Please see Chuwi's EU store for more details.
