The Xiaomi 16 is likely a few months away from being released in China, let alone globally. As it stands, Xiaomi is expected to introduce its Xiaomi 15 (curr. $900 on Amazon) successor alongside the larger Xiaomi 16 Pro in September after Qualcomm officially presents its Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. However, there is every chance that Xiaomi waits until MWC 2026, which runs between March 2 and March 5, before launching the Xiaomi 16 series globally.
Nonetheless, the latter model variant is believed to have appeared on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). As the image below shows, the EEC has approved the Xiaomi smartphone '25113PN0EG' for sale. Although the listing does not mention the retail name of the device in question, 25113PN0EG and the Xiaomi 16 have previously been linked in IMEI database results.
Similarly, 25113PN0EG matches the root model numbers of 25113PN0EC and 25113PN0EI, which are believed to be the Chinese and Indian versions of the Xiaomi 16, respectively. For the time being, the Xiaomi 16 is expected to cross the 7,000 mAh battery capacity threshold with a circa 6.3-inch OLED display and a trio of 50 MP rear-facing cameras. The design changes between the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 16 remain unknown for the time being, though.
