Leaker 体验more has published photos (embedded below) that purportedly show the Honor X70 for the first time, while leaker Panda is bald was able to obtain more detailed information about the features. Apparently, Honor is keeping the design almost unchanged from the Honor X60, but the features have gotten several significant upgrades.
First and foremost, Honor is replacing the already quite large 5,800 mAh battery with a truly gigantic 8,300 mAh battery, which can be charged with up to 80 watts via USB-C. Wireless charging is also said to be possible, but only on the 512 GB top model. Honor has reportedly opted for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, a relatively new 4nm ARM chip that should deliver decent performance with an ARM Cortex-A720 Prime core at 2.3 GHz, three Cortex-A720 Performance cores at 2.2 GHz, and four Cortex-A520 Efficiency cores at 1.8 GHz. It also comes with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB to 512 GB of flash storage.
The Honor X70 is said to be equipped with a 6.79-inch, 120 Hz OLED display and an 8-MP selfie camera. The round camera module on the back houses a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), which apparently replaces the 108 MP wide-angle camera of the previous model. The mid-range smartphone is expected to ship with Honor MagicOS 9. When or at what price the Honor X70 will be launched is unclear, but given the extensive leaks, the launch is not far off.
