Over the past few weeks, we have witnessed quite a few leaks surrounding the upcoming Honor X70, the most striking of which is perhaps the ginormous 8,300 mAh battery that the mid-range affordable handset is expected to boast. Now, it appears that the smartphone has also made its debut on Geekbench, revealing its SoC details.
Honor X70: Geekbench listing confirms SoC choice
As the listing confirms, the Honor X70 will be powered by the decently capable Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC packing four Cortex A720 as well as four Cortex A520 cores, paired with 12 GB of memory. The listing reveals a single-core and multi-core score of 1,064 and 2,998 respectively, which is just a hair under what can be expected from the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC.
Of course, the scores are likely to change as the device nears its official launch. The Honor X70 is expected to hit the scene sometime in the month of August, and as mentioned, the mid-range contender is believed to bring along a wide array of features that have been detailed below:
- Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC
- 6.79-inch 120 Hz OLED display with a resolution of 2640 x 1200
- Dual-camera setup, including 50 MP primary shooter
- IR blaster, NFC, IP69 rating
As mentioned previously, the Honor X70 is also rumored to sport a massive 8,300 mAh battery which should allow for some seriously impressive runtimes. 80 W wired charging support is also on the cards, as well as 80 W wireless charging.
