Transition Holdings subsidiary Tecno has officially unveiled its latest Pova 7 series devices in the Indian market. Tecno has introduced two devices under its midrange-focused Pova 7 series: the Tecno Pova 7 and the Tecno Pova 7 Pro. Specs-wise, both devices have similar features, albeit with a few tweaks. For example, the vanilla variant ships with an IPS LCD panel, while the Pro variant boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, outputting at 2720 x 1224 pixels with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a whopping 4,500 nits of peak brightness.
Tecno has incorporated its new Delta Light interface design into the Pova 7 series—a triangular light strip around the camera module comprises a total of 104 LED lights. Like the Infinix GT 30 Pro, the light strip is also customizable and interacts with notifications, gaming, incoming calls, music, and more. There’s a dual rear camera setup at the back, consisting of a 64 MP Sony IMX682 primary camera and an 8 MP ultrawide shooter.
Under the hood, the Tecno Pova 7 series is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage, with room for storage expansion. The software side is covered by Android 15-based Tecno’s HiOS 15, and the company promises only one Android update (Android 16) and two years of security updates.
A large 6,000 mAh battery powers the internals and supports 45 W wired and 30 W wireless charging. Dimensionally, the Pro variant measures 8.1 mm (0.31 inches) in thickness and weighs around 195 grams (0.42 lbs). Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, the Ella AI assistant, up to 12 GB of extended RAM, a 13 MP selfie camera, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
Available in geek black, dynamic grey, and neon cyan color options, the Tecno Pova 7 Pro is priced at INR 18,999 ($222) for the base 8 GB + 128 GB variant, while the 8 GB + 256 GB model retails at INR 19,999 ($234). The Pova 7 series will be available for purchase from July 10 via Tecno’s official website and other authorized retailers.
