Transition Holding’s subsidiary, Tecno, has unveiled its next-generation Pova 7 series smartphones globally. Successor to the Pova 6 series, it brings noticeable upgrades from new futuristic and minimalist design to high-performance hardware. Tecno has introduced a total of five phones under the Pova 7 series, including the top-of-the-line Pova 7 Ultra 5G, the Pova 7 Pro 5G, the Pova 7 5G, the Pova Curve 5G, and the base Pova 7.
The Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset, a similar chipset found on the recently launched Infinix GT 30 Pro. It boasts a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 70 W wired, 30 W wireless, and 10 W reverse charging. Furthermore, Tecno has incorporated a 12-layer hyper cooling system into the Pova 7 Ultra, which keeps things cool during extended gaming sessions.
Additionally, the phone also offers a 4D gaming vibration, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, and a suite of customized gaming features. Tecno has outfitted a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display into the Pova 7 Ultra 5G that delivers a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.
The Pova 7 series ships with Tecno’s new interstellar spaceship-inspired design. Plus, there’s a mini-LED status light around the camera housing, delivering customizable lighting effects for calls, notifications, and gaming. Other features include FreeLink for peer-to-peer calls and Tecno’s AI suite, which comprises AI Writing, AI Studio Tools, and Circle to Search.
