The Amazfit Helio Strap is expected to launch in the next few days. This wearable was rumored at the start of the month, and a product listing also leaked at a US retailer. Plus, Amazfit officially revealed a HYROX Edition version of the wearable in a recent blog post.
In another leak, a HYROX athlete appears to have confirmed the release date on social media. In the comments of a post linked to the new wearable, they note that it will launch on June 24th. This aligns with earlier comments by an Amazfit representative on Reddit, who indicated that prospective customers would not have to wait much longer to get their hands on the product. However, it is unclear whether June 24th is a global release date or for a specific region.
We already know that the Amazfit Helio Strap will offer tracking for various health metrics such as heart rate, sleep quality and stress. It is also expected to have a new BioCharge feature, similar to Garmin’s body battery tool. The Helio Strap will come with a plain black band, weighing around 0.04 lbs (~18 g). It will integrate with other Amazfit devices, with data compiled in the Zepp app. Plus, this new wearable will run for around ten days between charges.
Based on the leaked Walmart product listing, the Amazfit Helio Strap is expected to retail for $79.99 in the US. The pricing of this device in other markets like Europe has yet to be revealed.
