Just a few weeks after the Oppo K13 Turbo series launched in China, the smartphones have now made their way to India. Oppo has not only launched both models in India, but unlike some phones which have different specs from the version sold in China, that isn't the case with the Oppo K13 Turbo series.
The Oppo K13 Turbo smartphones have an active cooling fan, which isn't unheard of; but, despite the fan and the vents, the two devices have a triple water resistant rating (IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9).
For a recap, both the Oppo K13 Turbo and the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro have a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 2800 x 1280 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. They also both have a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP monochrome camera. On the front of the K13 Turbo smartphones is a 16MP selfie camera.
Where both smartphones differ is in their processors. The Oppo K13 Turbo is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8450 processor while the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro has Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. The standard model is available with 8GB of RAM and the option of 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage while the pro model is available in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants, both of which have 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The Oppo K13 Turbo smartphones have a 7,000mAh battery with support for SuperVOOC 80W fast charging like the Oppo K13 (available on Amazon.in for ₹17,789). They also have support for bypass charging. Other identical features are Bluetooth 5.4, support for LHDC 5.0 and aptX HD, dual SIM support, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and an IR blaster.
The Oppo K13 Turbo will begin shipping on August 18 and is priced at ₹27,999 (~$319/~€275) for the 128GB version and ₹29,999 (~$342/~€295)for the 256GB version. On the other hand, the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro starts shipping on August 15 and is priced at ₹37,999 (~$433/~€373) for the 8GB RAM version while the 12GB RAM variant is priced at ₹39,999 (~$456/~€393).
Both phones are available to buy in Purple Phantom and Midnight Maverick. While the standard version adds a third color called White Knight, the pro model's third color option is called Silver Knight.
