Xiaomi is expected to have a particularly busy end to the year when it comes to smartphone releases. For example, the company confirmed earlier today that the Redmi Note 15 series would be arriving before the end of the month. Then shortly afterwards, Xiaomi is believed to be bringing at least three new flagships to market in September under the Xiaomi 16 series. Moreover, the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro should appear before the end of the year too.
Amid all these Chinese-focused launches, Xiaomi is also anticipated to refresh its T series smartphones with a pair of new models this September. Now, Roland Quandt has weighed in on pricing and memory configurations for the pair, which he asserts will be available as the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro. In short, the leaker expects Xiaomi to refrain from enacting price increases from last year's Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro (curr. $624 on Amazon).
Therefore, the Xiaomi 15T should start at €649 (~$757) with 256 GB of storage. Meanwhile, Quandt reports that the Xiaomi 15T Pro will cost €150 more at €799 (~$932) with the same amount of storage. By contrast, the Xiaomi 15T Pro will jump to €899 (~$1,049) when optioned with 512 GB of storage. At this stage, it remains to be seen whether all these storage options will be complemented by 12 GB of RAM or beyond. Also, Quandt's leak reinforces earlier FCC documentation that suggested this year's Pro model would launch without a 1 TB option.
