The Redmi Note 15 series is widely tipped to launch this month. The mid-range phones will debut in China before launching globally later this year and new leaks have now revealed some information on what chipsets they'll arrive with.
As shared by leaker PaperKing13, it appears the line-leading Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus could launch with a disappointing chipset. Seemingly citing Mi Code, the leaker indicates that the mid-range could feature the same chipset as its predecessor, the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus. The shared image lists the chipset on board as Qualcomm's "SM7635", or the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 as it's widely marketed.
Outside of the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus, the leaker doesn't provide exact information on what chipsets will power the other models in the lineup. The Redmi Note 15 5G is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm chipset, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G looks billed for MediaTek silicon. In addition to the three aforementioned models, there will also be a Redmi Note 15 4G and a Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G, although no reliable information on their chipsets has been revealed.
