Digital Chat Station has offered up details about one of Xiaomi's upcoming Redmi Note 15 series smartphones. For context, the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus have already emerged in separate leaks. Seemingly, the former should be available globally, not just as the Redmi Note 15 Pro but also a successor to this year's Poco X7 (curr. $294.99 on Amazon).
According to Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi is planning to replace the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus with a device that surpasses it in various areas. For instance, the leaker expects Xiaomi to equip the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus with a new Snapdragon 7s chipset. Presumably, the chipset in question is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, which would slot in below the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 in Qualcomm's product stack.
Moreover, the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus is expected to jump to a circa 7,000 mAh battery, which would be almost a 13% uplift over the 5,110 mAh battery inside the current Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus. Apparently, this significantly larger battery will be joined by a 1.5K AMOLED display surrounded by symmetrical bezels too, as well as 50 MP primary and telephoto cameras. At this stage, it remains to be seen whether these 50 MP cameras and large battery capacity will grace global models, which was not the case with the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus.
