After rolling out HyperOS 3 to the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus and Note 14 Pro 5G last month, Xiaomi is bringing its latest Android 16-based update to another device in the series: the Redmi Note 14 4G.
According to multiple reports on Reddit, the stable HyperOS 3 update with build number OS3.0.4.0.WOGMIXM has started hitting the global Redmi Note 14 4G units. The update weighs roughly 5.3GB and appears to be rolling out widely—though it may take a few days before it’s available to download on every device.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 10 is also picking up HyperOS 3 alongside the Redmi TV x 2025, as officially confirmed by the company. But the rollout is currently restricted to the Chinese model, with the global variants, including the Smart Band 10 Glimmer Edition and Ceramic Edition, still waiting for their turn. They were originally slated to receive it between October and November, but there has been a slight delay with Xiaomi’s global rollout plans. In any case, the Chinese model getting the update is a good indication that a global release isn’t too far off.
Redmi Note 14 4G owners can look forward to many exciting features in the HyperOS 3, with the most notable being the new iPhone-style HyperIsland, which shows live updates of ongoing activities like music playback, timers, reminders, charging, and more on a floating status bar. It also brings along smoother animations, new lock screen styles, a suite of generative AI tools, cross-platform connectivity with macOS and iPadOS, and enhanced security measures like Advanced Protection and Trade-in Mode.
Several more global Xiaomi and Poco phones are set to get the Android 16-based update in December. It includes last year's flagships like Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Xiaomi 14T Pro, and Xiaomi 14 / 14T, as well as mid-rangers such as the Poco F6 series, Poco X6 Pro, Poco M7, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi 15.
