Xiaomi released the Redmi Note 15 series in China in August 2025. This new mid-range lineup has yet to see a proper global debut, which is expected to happen soon. Ahead of any official announcements, the international variants of the phones have been apparently spotted on a European retailer, and this leak shares that there will be some downgrades over the Chinese versions.
As the leak suggests, the global Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will have the same Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 as the Chinese model, but its base config will start at 8 GB instead of 12 GB. This is something that a recent Geekbench listing has hinted at, and it isn't the only downgrade that the leak is pointing to.
The global Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus will reportedly feature a 200 MP primary camera, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 2 MP macro camera on the back. That means the global phone could ship without a telephoto sensor, which is a notable upgrade that the Chinese version brought.
Even the battery of the global Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus will seemingly be downgraded. As the leak shares, the international version of the phone will come with a 6,500 mAh battery, noticeably lower than the 7,00 mAh battery found in the Chinese variant. The good news is that the charging speed could see a slight upgrade, from 90 W to 100 W (100 W Ugreen Nexode charger curr. $39.99 on Amazon).
Global Redmi Note 15 and Note 15 Pro could see some upgrades and downgrades
The leak has also shed light on the global Redmi Note 15 Pro and standard Note 15. It shares that the non-Plus Pro model will apparently have the same camera setup as the Plus model, which can be considered an upgrade from the Chinese variant. However, it will reportedly have a downgraded 6,580 mAh battery.
Regarding the standard Note 15, the global version is said to have a better camera configuration than the Chinese counterpart. To be specific, it will reportedly have a 108 MP primary sensor on the back, which will be paired with an 8 MP ultrawide. Of course, the battery will supposedly see a downgrade, from 5,800 mAh to 5,520 mAh.
Leaked EU prices
In addition to sharing the possible specs of the global Redmi Note 15 phones, the leak has also shed light on the potential European prices. Per the leak, the Pro+ will start at €499, the Pro at €399, and the standard at €299. These convert to around $579, $463, and $347, respectively.
