Early evidence of the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus' upcoming global release has now surfaced online. To recap, leaker Abhishek Yadav claimed a few days ago that the Redmi Note 15 series would launch in India during September. Apparently, 'first sales' are not set to begin until January 9, 2026, though. Moreover, it remains unclear when Xiaomi will begin offering its Redmi Note 15 series in other markets like Europe, Africa or the Middle East.
In the meantime, the early Geekbench listing offers a few insights into Xiaomi's plans for the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus globally. Surprisingly, the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus will match its predecessor (curr. $352 on Amazon) globally by starting with 8 GB of RAM rather than 12 GB as is the case in China. Additionally, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 will only provide the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus with a modest performance gain over its predecessor.
With scores of 1,239 and 3,347, the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus only manages 6% and 3% performance boosts in Geekbench 6 single-core and multi-core benchmarks, respectively. Based on leaks from earlier this year, the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus will lack the 50 MP telephoto camera in its Chinese counterpart and its 7,000 mAh battery. Instead, Xiaomi is expected to equip its global model with a 6,500 mAh battery and roughly the same camera hardware as its predecessor. Whether that holds true for the device's Indian release remains to be seen at this stage.
