The OnePlus 15 reviews are out, and the general consensus is that it is one of the most powerful phones of 2025. From the 165 Hz OLED display to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and 50 MP triple camera, the OnePlus 15 is packed to the brim with cutting-edge hardware. However, one of the most impressive aspects of the OnePlus 15 is the massive 7,300 mAh battery that can be fast-charged with up to a 120 W SuperVOOC charger.
Numerous battery life tests have now proved that the OnePlus 15 lasts an incredibly long time on a single charge. For instance, GSMArena’s testing places the OnePlus 15 at the top of their endurance chart. Thanks to the 120 W SuperVOOC charging, it appears that, in addition to being an endurance champ, the OnePlus 15 also charges rather quickly.
According to a test by TechDroider, it takes the OnePlus 15 only 41 minutes to go from 0 to 100% battery using 120 W SuperVOOC charging. The iPhone 17 Pro Max, on the other hand, takes 1 hour and 24 minutes to charge to 100% using the 40 W fast charging. This is an amazing result for the OnePlus 15, as the device not only charges much faster than the iPhone 17 Pro Max it does so despite packing a 51% bigger battery.
So, while the OnePlus 15 does seem to have its share of issues, battery anxiety isn’t one of them. We hope Samsung and Apple can adopt these high-density silicon-carbon batteries in the near future, as, combined with fast charging, this can finally put an end to flagships that last only one day on a single charge once and for all.
