Last week, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 15 globally as a replacement for the popular OnePlus 13 (curr. $899 on Amazon). Despite being available to order across Canada, Europe, India and other markets, the OnePlus 15 is yet to reach the US. As we covered last week, OnePlus clarified that the current US government shutdown had prevented it from offering the OnePlus 15 there for the time being.
While we await confirmation regarding the OnePlus 15's US launch, the company has now shed light on in which markets it plans to sell the OnePlus 15R after teasing its release last week. At the same time, OnePlus has provided a glimpse at the device in green and grey colour options. In short, the OnePlus 15R is the spitting image of the Ace 6, which OnePlus unveiled in China at the end of last month.
If that OnePlus 13R is anything to go by, then the OnePlus 15R will carry over all but the Ace 6's battery hardware. In other words, we would expect the OnePlus 15R to line up with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a 6.83-inch AMOLED display that outputs at 1,800 nits with a 165 Hz peak refresh rate. 50 MP primary and 8 MP ultra-wide-angle cameras will likely return too.
